What is Overselling?

What companies do to try and lure in business, is oversell. Overselling is when you offer services that are both rediculous and impossible. A good example of this would be to offer Unlimited Webspace or Bandwidth.

No server can come with unlimited Webspace, therefor offering it is impossible. However by offering it, unsuspecting consumers will be compelled to purchase from them.

With the average Harddrive being 250Gigs, it would be rediculous to offer 75 Gigs for cheap. However companies do this either for fraud to get your information or to make a fast dollar, and in most cases provide little to no service.
